Hair Symposium and Showcase

Greater Ashmont Main Street is bringing beauty, creativity, and community together this spring with the launch of its first-ever Hair Symposium & Showcase.

Taking place on May 3 + 4, 2026, this exciting new event will spotlight the talent and artistry of local stylists and salon professionals, while creating space for connection, learning, and celebration in the Ashmont business district. Hosted as part of Greater Ashmont Main Street’s ongoing efforts to uplift neighborhood businesses, the symposium highlights the vital role that salons and barbershops play in the cultural and economic life of our community.

Attendees can expect a vibrant, community-centered experience that shines a light on innovative hair design, professional skill-building, and the unique voices of local beauty entrepreneurs. From live demonstrations to networking opportunities, the Hair Symposium aims to both inspire and support those working in the industry.
